The algorithm that determines the learning progression for a flashcard primarily relies on the recent correct answers and wrong answers. However the percentage does not directly represent a ratio of correctly answered and wrongly answered. Rather it is a confidence rate of how well prepared you are to answer the question. Initially you also get a bonus for just looking at the card. After that, your percentage slowly but noticably increases with every correct answer. Later, the increase may be less as you approach 100%. Once you have reached 100% and continue to answer correctly, you can even go beyond 100%. During your learning curve you reach certain milestones. Whenever you answer wrong you fall back to the previous milestone but not back to 0%. Only if you answer wrong two times in a row you might fall back to a lower milestone. The percentage not only is a signal to you to know how well you know a card, it is also used to sort the cards and determine which ones to show you first and thus more often. You can always press the refresh button to reload all cards and resort them according to your learning progress. Otherwise, whenever you change the card category or reopen the app after a longer time of inactivity, the cards will also be resorted.
The devlopment of the card sharing feature is currently in progress and will be coming soon.
Currently it is only possible to back up your entire set of cards and then resore from this backup. This could be used to back up all your cards, send a friend your backup and let them restore the cards from your backup. However, please note that restoring from a backup overwrites all existing cards and doesn't just add the cards from the backup file. Also, the backup currently only contains the text and no images you might have added to your flashcards. We are working on improve both the backup and restore feature and offer a card sharing feature and a community to share the cards online.
You can earn achievement trophies by opening the app every day and learning at least a few cards. The main trophy can be achieved only once a day. But keep practicing and you might get one of our bonus trophies on top of that.
Whenever you swipe a card as "do it later" it lowers the priority of the task. However there is a small "trick". If you keep swiping a task as "do it later" it will eventually reset to a priority of 100% . This is because while we of course respect the decision of the user to mark a task as do it later, we also know that when tasks that are repeatedly pushed further away this is often due to procrastination and the task might actually be of high priority. So if this happens often we want to encourage the user to finish the task. That is why lowering the priority further and further eventually sets the priority back to 100%.
